The Opticians Association of America's (OAA's) State Leadership Conference is the premier networking opportunity for opti- cianry. Taking place February 8-10, 2018, in Charleston, SC, the conference provides attendees direct contact with industry leaders, giving them the opportunity to ask meaningful ques- tions, hear and discuss the issues facing the profession and the industry, and strengthen their relationships. This year's goal is to bring all leaders together so they can experience new horizons, see the growth and excitement in the opticianry field, and take fresh ideas and enthusiasm back to their state associations. The conference also offers unique educational seminars and interactive breakout sessions that address various topics, from stepping into leadership and public speaking roles to refraction for opticians.
