According to The Vision Council, National Sunglass Day was a huge success. Held this year on June 27, the Vision Council spent months working with industry partners, consumer groups, traditional and social media, and ECPs and their organizations to promote the event. The Vision Council's hard work resulted in more than 836 million online, broadcast, social media and print consumer media impressions. That's 260 million more impressions than last year; a 42% increase! Messages centered on eye health, vision protection and fashion. Top broadcast placements included "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "FOX Sports," "NFL Total Access," "NHL Tonight," "Kathie Lee & Hoda" and "Weather Underground," among many others.
