TA B L E O F C O N T E N T S / O A A N E W S / S P R I N G 2 0 1 7 The American Optician is the professional magazine of the Opticians Association of America and is published by First Vision Media Group, Inc. Diane Charles, of Washington State, has recently retired as Chair of the Vision of Hope Foundation after five years of leading the organization. Diane promises to stay involved in the continued growth of the Foundation through her work at the committee level. Thank you, Diane, for your dedicated service and commitment to serving those who cannot afford proper vision care locally, nationally and internationally. Your leadership will never be forgotten. Over the next several months, the Opticians Association of America will be reconstructing our website in order to make it more attractive and user friendly to our membership and consumers. The new site will be designed to serve as a hub of information covering all aspects of the eyecare industry. We apologize for any inconvenience the rebuild may cause. OAA is confident that when the site is complete, it will be something that makes all opticians proud. OPTICIANS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA NEWS 7 14 18
